{"id":46535,"date":"2018-07-26T11:22:23","date_gmt":"2018-07-26T11:22:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.libretro.com\/?p=46535"},"modified":"2019-05-28T01:50:40","modified_gmt":"2019-05-28T01:50:40","slug":"reicast-libretro-updates-26-7-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.libretro.com\/index.php\/reicast-libretro-updates-26-7-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"BeetleDC Libretro &#8211; Updates 26-7-2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BeetleDC Libretro<\/strong> and <strong>BeetleDC OIT Libretro<\/strong> have recently been updated.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a listing of all the changes\/fixes\/improvements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(Dreamcast\/Compatibility) Eldorado Gate &#8211; Broken opening FMV fixed (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/libretro\/reicast-emulator\/issues\/165\">link<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>(Dreamcast\/Compatibility) Demolition Racer now works (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/libretro\/reicast-emulator\/issues\/164\">link<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>(Dreamcast\/Compatibility) Redline Racer &#8211; Graphics bugs fixed (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/libretro\/reicast-emulator\/issues\/143\">link<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>(Dreamcast\/Compatibility) Fixed rendering issues with Tokyo Xtreme Racer games (<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/libretro\/reicast-emulator\/issues\/163\">link<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>(Dreamcast\/Compatibility) Conflict Zone &#8211; Modern War Strategy now works<\/li>\n<li>(NAOMI\/Compatibility) Metal Slug 6 now works without graphics bugs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>BeetleDC OIT &#8211; Increased compatibility with AMD\/Intel GPU drivers<\/h2>\n<p>AMD GPU owners on Windows\/Linux and Intel HD users on Linux\/Mesa should probably be able to use the Reicast OIT core now, as several GLSL compliance bugs have been fixed by now.<\/p>\n<p>Note that BeetleDC OIT can still be very buggy for Intel HD users on Windows, and slow to boot. The renderer really lends itself better to discrete GPUs from AMD\/NVidia.<\/p>\n<h2>Render to texture upscaling!<\/h2>\n<p>Previously, games which rendered to texture (such as Dead or Alive 2 or Crazy Taxi) would always output at 1 x native resolution. Now, you can set the upscaling factor.
